Law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies constantly strive to improve services and programs. Unfortunately, budget restrictions can limit those efforts. We recognize this challenge and provide this information to assist in identifying potential funding for projects.
The 911 Grant Program provides grant funding to support state and local efforts to deliver optimal 911 services. The funding may be used for the implementation and operation of 911 services, E911 services, migration to an IP-enabled emergency network, and adoption and operation of Next Generation 911 services and applications.
The purpose of the AFG Program is to enhance the safety of the public and firefighters with respect to fire and fire-related hazards. The program provides direct financial assistance to eligible fire departments, non-affiliated emergency medical service (EMS) organizations, and State Fire Training Academies (SFTA).
